Great Watercolor Illustration Work of Laura Wesson

Creating her illustrations all by hand, Laura Wesson maintains an exciting, raw energy and texture giving her clients the opportunity to purchase one off pieces. She has exhibited in various group shows around London, her most recent being at The East Gallery, Brick Lane.

Laura’s work is not pretentious and often has no meaning– it is purely for aesthetics, highlighting the beauty of the clothes and the female form. She applies inks and watercolours for a loose contrast to the detailed, soft, pencil hues.

Hi, I like your work. Im guessing we have been to some of the same parties.

That however is not why I am writing. I live in Ohio and have a water color painting of a store front my father helped set up in London UK on Kings Rd, in the Chelsea area, probably in the early 70s. The signature is hard to read, but the first part of the last name easily reads ‘Wesso~’ . I googled ‘Wesso watercolor’ and your name came up.

If its any relation, please email me — emmam@fuse.net. Id love to get some history, as I am a multi media artist.

If you go to Club Rub (London), say hi to Kim for me.

    Cheers,

    Emma M.
